Stop Wasteful Chicken Slaughter!

As someone who cares about farmed animals, I am outraged that Foster Farms is using enormous quantities of water during a megadrought for the unreasonable and unnecessary purpose of slaughtering chickens with cruel electric immobilization.

Electric immobilization is notorious for the suffering it causes as the animals can still be conscious and feel pain as they’re being slaughtered. And because the chickens vomit and defecate on themselves as they’re being killed in this abhorrent manner, this process then uses even more water to clean off their bodies.

I am calling on you to stop this inhumane and wasteful practice immediately. Animals deserve better.
